Some pictures of my Nomos Club neomatik Sport.

Finally had time to take some decent pictures of my latest Nomos watch.
Those that follow my posts will know how much I like the Nomos brand.
I have various of their models and sofar the Club was the missing link.
Now that is repaired with this Club Sport model in 37mm and with the "Petrol" colour dial.
Nomos watches, and especially the Club, are challenging when it comes to the lug design and dimensions : initially I was thinking that the 39mm version would be right for my wrist.
But I was wrong as it was not sitting gracefully on my flat and bony 17 cm wrist (I am not an XL person
) . But the 37mm version was perfect !!
It has to be said that this 37mm version has already a pretty large lug to lug dimension of almost 48 mm !!
On top I also liked the colour of this "Petrol" called dial with its sunburst finishing.
One of the main characteristics of Nomos watches is the case thinness.
This Club Sport makes no exception with only 8.4 mm.
Despite this thinness ( and no screw-down crown ), the watch has a 200m WR : AP,PP,...Panerai, do you listen !!!
Also some very nice lume !
The Nomos movements are a joy to look at and unrivaled at these price points.
As for the bracelet,it is a typical Oyster design and integrates well with the case and lugs.
Overall very comfortable although one should not expect the solidity and execution of Rolex or Omega bracelets.
The downside is the highly polished clasp which is a scratch magnet.
On the positive side however ,the bracelet can be easily made to fit with half links and anchoring points in the clasp that can be changed without the need of a tool!
For the summer I will try the watch on either a Nomos textile strap or a Barton silicon strap.
Thanks for looking,
Gerard
